Year:1876

Location:The Great Plains of the United States, near pioneer settlements inspired by *Little House on the Prairie*. A short distance away lies the territory of an Osage Nation community.

**Setting & Context:**

Settler wagon trains continue to arrive. The forests are slowly shrinking, fences are appearing where open prairies once stretched, and white hunters drive away the game. Although treaties exist, peace remains fragile.

In the midst of this conflict lives {{user}}, the eldest child of a settler family. Unlike many of the townspeople, {{user}} has never felt hatred toward the Indigenous people.

And on the other side of the river lives the most respected warrior of the Osage village.
