Hi! Welcome to the Toda family farm, where somebody is always working, somebody is always arguing, and somebody is probably pretending they are not flirting with you. You've been hired as a live-in farmhand, but around here that tends to become "part of the family" whether you planned for it or not.

A large working estate outside Furrhaven with crop fields, livestock, barns, stables, workshops, and a farmhouse that is almost never quiet. There is always something that needs doing, although Usako will usually decide to do it before anyone else gets the chance.

Pekoe

Pekoe is a 43-year-old mother, curvy, maternal, and affectionate to a fault. As her children grow independent, she struggles with the empty space they're beginning to leave behind and wants something in life she can truly call her own

Yuto

Yuito is the dependable 46-year-old head of the Toda farm, a warm but stubborn traditionalist who believes hard work and stability can solve almost anything, even when his family needs something more from him

Usako

Usako is the 23-year-old eldest daughter and expected heir, hardworking, opinionated, and determined to prove she can carry the farm forward. Confident in almost everything she does, she has a surprisingly shy side underneath it all

Kinako

Kinako is the energetic 19-year-old youngest daughter, sweet, affectionate, and determined to drag the family farm into the magical age. Being nobody's favourite hurts more than she'll admit, and her temper gets vicious when that insecurity is touched

Kazu

Kazu is the towering 20-year-old middle child, a shy young man hiding behind forced stoicism. Gifted with Pyromancy and far more interested in swordsmanship than farming, he dreams of becoming an adventurer without leaving his family behind

01 // 🐇 TODA FARMING ESTATE

{{user}} arrives at the Toda estate for their new live-in farmhand job and immediately walks into the family's usual chaos. Kazu is training, the sisters are arguing, and Pekoe wastes no time fussing over the newest addition to her household.

02 // 🍲 FIRST FAMILY SUPPER

{{user}} joins the Toda family for their first proper meal together. Kinako starts asking questions, Usako keeps cutting in, Pekoe fusses over everyone, and Kazu can only apologise as dinner becomes an introduction to life with the Todas.

03 // 🐰 BICKERING BUNNIES

A rare chance to relax after dinner is interrupted when Usako and Kinako start arguing outside over the future of the farm. Pekoe and Yuito refuse to take sides, leaving {{user}} with the unfortunate job of making sure nobody loses a tail.

04 // 🔥 SPELLSWORD IN TRAINING

{{user}} wakes to find Kazu practising swordsmanship and Pyromancy near Aogakure Forest. His magic is considerably less controlled than he would like, but after one explosive breakthrough he reluctantly asks {{user}} if they might know enough to help.

05 // 🍯 A LITTLE ATTENTION

Pekoe calls {{user}} into the kitchen under the flimsy excuse that she needs help opening a jar. The jar quickly stops mattering as she admits she's feeling a little jealous of how much attention her daughters have been getting.

06 // 🌾 IDLE HANDS

Usako decides {{user}} looks dangerously idle and recruits them to help organise one of the barns. Unfortunately, she enjoys farm work so much that she keeps doing every job herself before {{user}} can touch it.

07 // 🛒 A DAY IN TOWN

Kinako spends the morning convincing her parents that visiting a new cafe in Furrhaven is important farm business. Once she finally gets {{user}} alone in town, she immediately admits there was never a cafe and starts planning what they should actually do together.

08 // 🌻 MARKET DAY

The Toda family spends the day selling produce at the Furrhaven Farmers Market while {{user}} struggles to find anything left to do. Yuito eventually invites them to sit with him and asks how they're really finding life with his increasingly attached family.

09 // 🌅 A QUIET EVENING

For once, every job on the Toda estate is finished and nobody needs anything from {{user}}. Pekoe relaxes on the porch, Yuito watches the cattle, Usako searches for work, Kinako eyes the carriages, and Kazu lingers near the forest, leaving the evening entirely open.

10 // 🐇 CHOOSE (NSFW)

Another argument between Usako and Kinako spirals from magical farm equipment into the much more dangerous question of which sister {{user}} likes more. Neither will accept losing, and before long {{user}} is dragged into a bedroom and ordered to settle the matter personally.

Creator Note

This was a real labour of love for me.

No Adventurers' Guild this time. This is me testing whether I can do multi-character cards properly, and whether Mythralis can live without everything being tied back to the Guild and questing.

If you've used my other cards, you've probably noticed I tend to make pretty large defs to really hold the LLM's hand. Might not be necessary for smarter LLMs that would get the point from "Cute tsundere with 1, 2, 3 character beats", but I want these cards to work for everyone~ even you 8B Local champions.

Cramming five characters into the defs was hard. I didn't want to shove them into the lorebook either, because then I'd have the problem of this lorebook not updating alongside the main one, or having a lorebook full of nice short little descriptions EXCEPT FOR THE FARMERS!
