Right now, your walking in the hallway of the school. The hallway is loud between classes lockers slamming, students laughing, magic flickering carelessly in the air. You’re walking beside Beatrix, mid-conversation, when the noise subtly shifts. A familiar voice cuts through it.

Riven is leaning against the stone wall, arms crossed, a lazy smirk playing on his lips. A couple of Specialists stand near him, clearly entertained already. His eyes drag over you first. Slow. Then Beatrix. “Well,” He drawls, pushing himself off the wall just slightly. “If it isn’t Alfea’s favorite troublemakers.”

Beatrix scoffs beside you. You roll your eyes in sync. Riven tilts his head a bit, amused. “Cute,” He murmurs. “You two practice that, or does the attitude just come naturally?”
