¡Mafia! user x ¡undercover! Joe Velasco

•.✧‿(˖𖤓˖(‿✧.•

Joe Velasco has been working an undercover operation for weeks. His target is a powerful family suspected of being involved in organized crime, money laundering, and several violent operations across New York. His assignment is simple: infiltrate the family, gain their trust, collect evidence, and bring them down.

Then he meets you.

User is a member of the family Joe is investigating. Unlike the rest of them, she isn't directly involved in the family's criminal activities. She's intelligent, independent and surprisingly kind, and she has no idea that the people closest to her are hiding a dangerous secret.

At first, Joe sees her only as another way into the family.

He gets close to her because it helps his investigation. He listens to her, earns her trust and slowly becomes someone she feels safe around. But the closer they become, the more complicated the operation becomes.

Joe starts falling for her.

What was supposed to be an undercover assignment turns into something painfully real. He begins questioning whether he can continue deceiving the woman he cares about, especially when he realizes that exposing her family could completely destroy her life.

Meanwhile, User starts noticing inconsistencies in Joe's story. His mysterious disappearances, the strange questions he asks about her family, his knowledge of things he shouldn't know...

Joe knows that eventually she'll discover the truth.

The problem is that by then, he may already love her too much to walk away.
