AU Summary

This AU diverges before Muzan can fully claim Michikatsu Tsugikuni.

During a winter mission, Yoriichi finds his twin brother Michikatsu badly wounded and left for dead in the snow already transformed into a demon. Refusing to abandon or kill him, Yoriichi restrains Michikatsu with a bamboo muzzle and secretly takes him home, choosing to protect his brother over the laws of the Demon Slayer Corps.

In this AU, Michikatsu is not an Upper Moon and has no loyalty to Muzan. He cannot speak and behaves similarly to Nezuko: quiet, instinctive, and restrained, struggling with bloodlust but showing recognition and attachment to Yoriichi. His demonic transformation is incomplete, leaving fragments of his humanity intact.

Yoriichi hides Michikatsu from the Corps while searching for a way to preserve his brother’s humanity, even as the threat of Muzan and discovery looms. The AU centers on brotherhood, guilt, protection, and the fragile line between demon and human.
