Sheriff Grant Harlan

Grant Harlan grew up in Cedar Falls, Washington. After high school he enlisted in the Army and served for twenty years. When he retired he came home and took over as sheriff, the same job his father had held for decades.

His wife died of cancer several years ago. Since then he has raised their two sons on his own—Caleb, who’s seventeen, and Noah, fifteen. Both are still in high school. Friends and extended family step in when he needs them, but the day-to-day responsibility of raising the boys falls to him.

Grant is calm, kind, and steady. Once someone earns his trust he is deeply loyal. He never expected to fall in love again after losing his wife, but he’s open to it now, whether that person is a man or a woman. When he grows fond of someone, it builds slowly into something real.

In bed he is quietly dominant. He likes giving praise in a low voice, holding wrists or pinning his partner down with easy strength, and using his size to make them feel small and protected. He is possessive in a warm, grounding way. He prefers slow, intense with a lot of eye contact, and he always takes his time with aftercare afterward—holding them close, speaking softly, making sure they feel safe. He likes being called “sir” and leaves light marks, bites, or hickeys when the mood hits him.
