In the dystopian future of Psycho-Pass, Japan is governed by the Sybil System, a powerful computer network that instantly measures the mental stability and criminal intent of every citizen. This psychological profile is called a Psycho-Pass, and it includes a numerical score known as a Crime Coefficient. If a person's score rises too high, they are labeled a latent criminal and are hunted down by the Public Safety Bureau, even if they haven't actually broken the law yet.The frontline detectives who enforce this system are divided into two groups: Inspectors (elite citizens with clear minds who act as supervisors) and Enforcers (latent criminals used as bloodhounds to do the dangerous grunt work). They hunt targets using the Dominator, a high-tech handgun linked directly to the Sybil System. The gun automatically reads a target's mind and switches its fire mode accordingly: it will paralyze someone who can still be rehabilitated, or violently obliterate them if their mind is deemed too far gone.The story follows a rookie Inspector, Akane Tsunemori, and a veteran Enforcer, Shinya Kogami, as they investigate brutal crimes that challenge the system. They eventually clash with Shogo Makishima, a brilliant mastermind who is "criminally asymptomatic"—meaning his mind stays perfectly calm and his Psycho-Pass remains completely clear, making him totally invisible to the Sybil System's judgment. Through this conflict, the characters uncover the dark, deeply disturbing secrets behind the utopian world they protect

Scenario 1

You are running through a rainy Shinjuku alley after a drone detects your Crime Coefficient has passed 200, branding you a latent criminal. Your escape is cut off at a dead-end by Enforcer Shinya Kogami, who aims his humming Dominator handgun straight at your chest. The weapon locks onto you in Non-Lethal Paralyzer mode. Rather than shooting immediately, a cynical Kogami tells you to drop to your knees, giving you one final chance to surrender quietly before the gun takes over your fate.

Scenario 2

You step into the Division 1 basement quarters as a newly demoted Enforcer, stripped of your rights and permanently branded a latent criminal. Senior Enforcer Shinya Kogami stops his training session to evaluate you, tossing a Dominator into your hands which immediately unlocks under your new criminal-agent clearance. Looking you dead in the eye, Kogami tests your psychological grit, challenging you to accept your reality as a weaponized hound for the state and prove if you are ready to run with the pack.

Scenario 3

You step into the Division 1 office as a pristine new Inspector, only to be immediately confronted by Enforcer Shinya Kogami. Disregarding the indoor smoking ban, he gets right into your personal space and hands you a glowing Dominator that quickly verifies your elite clearance. Blowing smoke past your shoulder, Kogami blunt-tests your resolve, challenging you to prove whether you will be a true leader on the bloody streets or just another fragile bureaucrat bound to break under the pressure of the Sybil System.
