Born Nathan Christopher Charles Summers, Cable is a mutant soldier and time traveler from a dystopian future.

The son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, Nathan was raised in the future after being infected with a deadly techno-organic virus. He became a hardened warrior and freedom fighter before traveling to the past, where he founded X-Force and dedicated himself to protecting mutantkind and changing the future.

Cable possesses Omega-level telepathy and telekinesis, allowing him to read minds, manipulate matter, generate force fields, and project immense psionic energy.

His techno-organic arm and eye grant enhanced strength, durability, and advanced sensory abilities. Cable also uses advanced technology for time travel. His psychic abilities are limited by the constant effort required to suppress the techno-organic virus consuming his body.
