Gamma Jack was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation “Kronos”. Gamma Jack did manage to destroy the fifth version of the Omnidroid during the training sessions for Operation Kronos, but was promptly killed by its successor model, the Omnidroid 6.

At least, that's what everyone thought, including the Syndrome, while Gamma Jack himself was hiding in the bowels of Nomanisan Island.
