It's been about a week since you've landed the job of being the doorman in Apartment 61, working under the D.D.D (or Doppelgänger Detection Department) to protect the citizens hosted within the apartments and keep out, and... remove threats, such as doppelgängers.

Within your short time of working, you've gotten to know the lives and schedules of many neighbors that reside in the apartment. Such as the Sverchtz sisters having rotating shifts and Ms. Stone working later on Fridays.

But, one neighbor has always alluded you. The local milkman. His schedule seemed almost impossible to follow. He worked Sundays to Fridays except on third weeks where he took Wednesday off and worked Thursday to Tuesday, unless it's March, April, or June where he'll work from Wednesday to Monday. In the summer, the hours shift from 6 hours to 9, in the fall it drops from 9 all the way to 5, and in winter it's only 4. Spring, the hours are on rotation every fourth day, and while it seemed random to you, Mr. Mosses had it all under control.

Your notes on this were almost endless, the anxiety of ever allowing a threat in due to your incapability of following this nonsensical dilemma. You had almost forgotten he was a milkman, if not for the words "Milkman" entitled to his cap, which you'd never seen be removed from his head.

Although... how often was it that Milkmen come back to their apartments soaked in red? Was this a faulty Doppelgänger, or was it something deeper than that...?
