TAVERN OWNER POV

⊰───────✧───────⊱

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Sibyl Bohun - The Errand Girl

Competitive, bold, and slightly too confident, Sibyl won't hesitate to mess with you. But don't take her playful personality for granted—she's a force of nature under that lively spirit. Pissing her off or threatening her isn't exactly the brightest idea.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Calystrix - The Waitor

A master of seduction and manipulation. This demoness doesn't play around when it comes to what she wants. Problem is, you won't realise you've fallen into Calystrix's trap until it's too late.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Tanya Arazeiros - The Chef

Don't let Tanya's looks deceive you. Behind those massive arms, broad shoulders, and heavily scarred body is a woman with the softest and most sensitive heart. Mess with her at your risk—if you don't mind facing Calystrix's wrath.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Eden Valois - The Janitor and Bartender

A feral demi in a tame job. Eden's wild, vulgar, and doesn't give a about hurting your feelings. She'll spew the most heinous things with a grin and call it "warmup." Tends to start fights for the fun of it.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

⊰───────✧───────⊱

You're the owner/manager of Hearthstead Tavern and Sibyl, Calystrix, Tanya, and Eden are your workers.

Everything else like your race, age, gender, etc is all up to you.

Solvannar

Solvannar is a vast continent with many races, kingdoms, organisations, and biomes. The continent is arranged around a large central inland sea, with landmasses extending in several directions from it.

North: the northern region is split into two distinct environments. To the northwest lies a heavily forested peninsula with dense woodland. To the northeast, the land becomes arid and sandy, dominated by vast red deserts. A mountain range forms a natural boundary between the greener central lands and the eastern desert.

Center: the heart of the continent surrounds the inland sea. This central region is mostly temperate—rolling plains, open grasslands, and scattered forests. A prominent mountain chain runs east–west across the middle, dividing northern and southern climates.

West: the western side features a large, forested peninsula covered in thick woodland and rugged terrain. Offshore to the southwest sits a dark, rocky island with a harsh, volcanic appearance.

South: the southern portion shifts dramatically in climate. The southwest is mountainous and snow-covered, a cold, alpine and tundra environment. Moving southeast, the terrain transitions into dense pine forests and rugged hills, eventually meeting icy waters along the southern coast.

East: beyond the central mountains to the northeast lies a broad desert with dunes and sparse rocky outcrops. The southeastern edge includes forested lowlands and a more temperate coastline along the Sunken Gulf.

(I made the map using Inkarnate. Took at least 8 hours 😭💀)

Kingdoms and Realms in Solvannar

Karswyn

The biggest kingdom on the continent—territory-wise. Karswyn controls the Red Dunes and the northern lands of the central plains. With slaves as its biggest workforce, Karswyn is a force to be reckoned with.

Velmora

As the weakest kingdom military-wise, Velmora depends on its political relations with the other kingdoms. They specialise in trade, reaching every corner of Solvannar.

Thandoril

The kingdom that's perpetually in snow. Despite the harsh environment, Thandoril thrived, forming a military on par with Iskandria's and Karswyn's. Invading them is begging to be slaughtered.

Caldrith

The main producer of weapons, armour, and raw ore in Solvannar. Caldrith may be separated from the rest of the kingdoms by sea, but it's rough terrain makes it hard to grow much there. Instead, they rely on hunting and fishing for food.

Iskandria

The kingdom of dragons, many call it. Located in the central plains, Iskandria is a force to be reckoned with. As one of the richest kingdoms in both coin and land, they rarely have any need to invade another kingdom.

The Heavenly Realm

The Heavenly Realm is the realm where angels, divinity, and ascended beings reside, well above the clouds. Just like life on the surface, the Heavenly Realm also has its rules and systems. There are 3 types of angels/ascended beings/divinity—Guardians, Observers, and Vanguards. Guardians are tasked with keeping the Heavenly Realm safe from outsiders, Observers are tasked with studying the surface and the underworld for signs of emergence from the Underworld, and Vanguards are tasked with the extermination of corrupted beings—those cursed by the Underworld. A single powerful ruler leads the Heavenly Realm—the Archangel. The Archangel is the most power within the Heavenly Realm and their word is law.

The Underworld

Located beneath the surface, the Underworld is a dark and ruthless place ruled by the demon overlord, Nyxavara, the embodiment of absolute horror and fear. She rules with an iron fist. The Underworld is overflowing with demons and trapped souls, all itching to get to the surface and wreak havoc. Within the centre of the Underworld is Nyxavara's palace, a place of torment and suffering. The hierarchy is strict, with Nyxavara at the top, her most trusted warlords right under her, and captains under them, and then the bloodthirsty armies Nyxavara commands.

Organisations in Solvannar

The Draconic Order

Dragon worshippers. This organisation reveres dragons and sees them as gods. It is led by a council called the Council of Scales and Claws. This order is more focused on dragon worshipping than anything, which leads to some destructive things like an "insight" telling the council to attack a place. Many villages and towns have been destroyed in this way.

The Mist Wanderers

An organisations of assassins led by Nicholas Sullivan. Despite the brutal methods employed by the Mist Wanderers, they have a strict moral code: no men or women or children without probable cause—any assassin that crosses this line is either exiled or dealt with. Despite the sheer size of Solvannar, a Mist Wanderer will get to their target within 3 months of accepting the contract.

The Iron Legion

A wandering legion of knights led by Ser Elias Sevoy. The Iron Legion was originally founded by 3 exiled knights that prioritised their own gain over their kingdom. In recent times, leadership has become 1 knight only. During its earlier stages, the Iron Legion was mocked for the jobs they offered to do. Now, an organisation with thousands of numbers, people horde to them with jobs and offers. They only take what benefits them most and has the most pay.

The Adventurers Guild

The adventures guild is dotted around Solvannar, with hubs in every major town, city, port, and capital. Its guild mistress, Agnes Arundel, is a gentle yet strict woman. Few cross her and leave unscathed, yet those she helps personally rise above others. Due to the guild's ways, no hub ever accepts missions where the main objective is to harm another sentient being. There's 5 ranks in the guild—S-rank, A-rank, B-rank, C-rank, and D-rank. Rank depends on experience and missions completed.

The Truthseekers

Truthseekers, as their name suggests, seek the truth. Their leader, Lawrence Clifford, is a man of the many. Or so he says. In truth, under him, the Truthseekers became a violent thing, doing anything and everything in search of the truth. Morals no longer exist for them—if they can find the truth about someone or something they will stop at nothing

Creatures in Solvannar

The Nine

Dravosk: the elder dragon of knowledge. Dravosk is a gentle dragon, often spotted flying low at a slow pace. Black spikes line his spine from his snout to the tip of his tail. Despite being a gentle dragon, he is capable of violence—his scars are evidence enough.

Vorthalyx: the elder dragon of prosperity. This green giant, the twin brother of Dravosk, often wanders the forests of Solvannar. If he's ever spotted flying over farms, it is said that the crops get blessed and rain will follow soon after.

Kaelmyrrath: the elder dragon of death. She's only ever spotted when lots of lives are about to be lost. Many believe she guides the dead to the afterlife. Her black scales are often said to house souls until they can find a way into the afterlife.

Xandrythar: the elder dragon of clouds. The smallest elder yet he's the fastest. With a total of 8 wings, he can outpace every other dragon with ease even when they're going at full speed.

Arkhendryx: the elder dragon of peace. Despite being called the elder of peace, her viciousness rivals Hokae, the elder of war. Unlike her brother, Hokae, she only fights when provoked. All her legs are also wings, making it a total of 6 wings.

Hokae: the elder dragon of war. Hokae's strength is unmatched, once spotted fighting 3 elders and winning. His wings, a deep red colour like his scales, serves as his front legs. The tip of his tail is barbed, making him capable of tremendous damage.

Morvaxir: the elder dragon of the north. He's pure white with 2 massive horns adoring his head. Usually spends most of his time hibernating, only coming out of hibernation to feed and, as some say, bless the north with game.

Zyraethon: the elder dragon of greed. He rarely leaves his cave in the easg for anything other than to plunder and feed. This elder has scales the colour of gold and charcoal. Atop his head, a bone structure makes it look like he's wearing a crown.

Thraedrakar: the elder dragon of seas. Her scales are hues of blue and gold. Many of her spikes are webbed, allowing her to traverse the seas faster. Unlike the rest of dragonkind, she doesn't have wings but fins.

After Sibyl returns from running errands and finds out you aren't at the tavern, they all go up to your office.

Eden goes to snoop around

Sibyl's Invitation

At the tavern, with errands that need to be done, Sibyl gets an invitation by her father to do something and hopes you'll give her the day off.

A late night walk ended up with Calystrix slaughtering minions from the Underworld that came looking for her before returning to the tavern and seeing you sitting at the bar. Alone.

Tanya's Panicked Cooking

In the early morning, Tanya prepares breakfast for the tavern workers and the guest staying the night. Only to realise something is wrong and breaking into tears.

Aurora Galzing

There's a lot to yap about, but first of all, I'd like to say thank you to a member from my Discord server: Aurora.

Bro is literally the reason any of this even exists—the map of Solvannar, the lorebook, the kingdom territories that he pointed out. And not to mention the amount of cutting he helped me do. We spent 2 hours taking this bot from like 8.5k or 8.6k tokens (personality section only) to what it is now.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Bot Optimisation

From now on, I'm going to try to optimise my bots and lower token counts. Because honestly, 10k token bots are insane.

For those of you wondering, I'll be removing:

1. Majority of the "Behaviours" section except for a select few

2. Cutting down on the details in the "Details" and "Sexual Details" sections

3. Making example dialogue smaller in both size and number of example dialogues (5 —> 2/3)

4. Using lorebooks where I can now that I understand how they work

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Nicer Bios

I'm sure you've noticed a lot of changes from how I usually make my bios. Namely:

1. Banners for each section

2. The "ANY POV" thing is now being used correctly, indicating what your PoV is in the bot's plot/story

3. The "boxes" around the initial message scenarios (gotten from this guide)

⊰───────✧───────⊱

Lorebooks

As I said in the above subsections, now that I've learnt how lorebooks work, I'll be trying to use them more to reduce token counts.

⊰───────✧───────⊱

TLDR

1. Will be trying to optimise bots from now on

2. Nicer, cleaner bios

3. Learnt lorebooks and will be using them
