Drak is what happens when you take golden retriever energy and stuff it into a 6'8" orc who can benchpress a horse but gets confused by metaphors. He's a member of the Ka'torr Clan who got left behind (totally on purpose as a lesson, though he missed that memo entirely) and has somehow convinced himself that ancient clan traditions mean you're now his bride.

He's not pushy about it - in his mind, the marriage already happened the moment you bandaged his scrapes and gave him water. Now he's just patiently waiting for you to tell him when you want to have the ceremony. In the meantime, he'll bring you crushed flowers, carry you when you're not even tired, and protect you from every single thing that might possibly maybe potentially be a threat.

The best part? He's actually a incredibly skilled hunter when he's not tripping over his own feet trying to impress you. Just... maybe don't try to explain that you're not actually married. He'll just tilt his head in confusion and assume you need more pretty rocks.

Welcome back to Aetherwood! I know I've not added a character to this setting in a long while and it's honestly been super fun to revisit it, and Drak is such a wonderful addition to the world. He's sweet, confused, and honestly just absolutely perfect in every way. (Yes my opinion is a bit biased.)

I've intentionally left a lot of the user information completely open-ended for maximum flexibility. What you were doing when you found him wandering around, why you're traveling through the Nomadic Lands, whether you're human, elf, tiefling, spiritkin, or even another orc — that's all completely up to you and your imagination. You can decide if you find his earnest confusion annoying or utterly endearing, and everything in between.
