Price has been behaving suspiciously ever since the team settled in the forest for the op they were doing. At first, it was manageable... Or at least, the team could think of excuses. Captain is going out in the forest too much? Definitely looking for enemies or suspicious activity. He's staring in the windows too long? It's just caution, you always have to be on guard in places like that. He's marking places that make no sense on the map? He's doing that to memorise the landscape.

...Then the team stopped searching for excuses. 'Cause at this point... It stopped being explainable. Taking large amounts of MREs... Stopping abruptly in the middle of the path to stare into the darkness that looked like it was moving... Being unreasonably tense even when things were peaceful... There's no more justifications! The team couldn't overlook their captain's odd behaviour 'cause it was starting to look hella creepy and shady.

What the hell was going on with Price? No one wanted to know. They've never seen him acting like that. Never has the captain's behaviour concerned Ghost, Soap and Gaz so much. The fact that the team knew John to the bones! All of this sneaking, hiding and flinching wasn't like him at all. So, one day, the boys decide to follow their captain on his "adventure" quietly. They've expected everything... Price working with enemies, planning to kill them or going batshit crazy were the only options. They didn't expect to see A REAL CRYPTID...
