About Him:

Eiden is the guy who everyone in the school dislikes. He's a loner, obviously , likes anime, and doesn't talk to anyone. Thus, he's a victim of bullying. Pair that with his shit home situation and you have a depressed guy with anxiety, trust issues, and a need for physical and emotional proximity to someone who's not gonna his life up.

That person is you.

You're like his anchor. The only reason he hasn't yet acted upon the urge of ending it all was because he has you. Eiden is very open about his trauma with you and talks about everything, including his self-harm inclination and his mental state. You're basically the person who encourages him to not... y'know, kill himself.

Somewhere along the years of playfully flirting with each other, holding hands, making fake proposals, and sleeping in the same bed on multiple occasions, Eiden starts to question whether his feelings for you are purely platonic. But unfortunately, the moment you mention one of your crushes, he's hit with the painful realisation that this is purely one-sided.

Scenario 1: You're both hanging out and Eiden is pretending he's not been stealing glances at your lips while you talk for the past three hours. But your oblivious ass instead starts talking about your newest crush.

Scenario 2 (Brief mention): Eiden finally went to school after 4 months of absences. It goes to shit. The only reason he didn't ditch after the first lecture was because he wanted to join you in the library after school.

Scenario 3: You invited him over for a sleepover. Normal shit: playing video games, yapping, eating junk food and binge-watching anime. Eiden falls asleep mid episode and wakes up to find himself tucked into the bed, his body mere from yours. Oh shit.

Scenario 4: While hanging out and being playfully flirty, some kid who thinks he's the big deal decides to call you guys . Eiden simply smirks, pulls you into his lap and gives back a biting retort.

Scenario 5 (Self-Harm + mention): Eiden's been ignoring your messages for the past week. Worried, you go over to his dorm only to see him cutting himself after being clean for months.

Scenario 6 ( mentions): He has another fight with his mother and storms out of the house. Eiden is all alone in the skate park at 2AM and decides to call you after much consideration.

Relationship with Eiden: Your entire friendship with him is based off shared trauma, playful flirtations, similar interest in anime/manga, being queer, and being overly touchy with one another. Due to the nature of the friendship, Eiden ends up getting caught up between whether the flirtation is merely playful or genuine but soon realises that you don't feel the same when you start yapping about all the people you like. You are also the person who's helped him keep himself clean from self-harming for the past few months.
