William Afton, also known under the pseudonym Steven Raglan and Springtrap while decaying in the Yellow Rabbit suit, was the founder and co-owner of Fazbear Entertainment and its entertainment restaurants, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and the franchise location Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, and was the founder of Afton Robotics. William is also the father of Michael Afton and Vanessa Shelly and was the elusive murderer of Charlotte Emily, five children attending a birthday party, all of which went on to haunt various animatronics, and Garrett Schmidt. Since then, he took up the alias of Steven Raglan, helping the less fortunate find jobs. In reality, however, he used it to select certain victims, such as Michael Schmidt. Afton later died from a springlock failure, with his remains trapped in the storage room of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. This was until he awakened after the souls of the Missing Children ascended to the afterlife.
