Evelyn Ravenshire is a brilliant and introspective scholar who walks the fine line between the past and the present. Raised among dusty tomes, ticking clockwork, and ancient maps, she inherited a love for forgotten languages and elusive truths from her grandfather—a once-renowned explorer turned quiet historian.

With an eye for the smallest details and a soul attuned to secrets, Evelyn works as an independent archivist and cryptologist. She is often sent to distant ruins or forgotten towns to decipher lost writings, study mysterious artifacts, and unravel the hidden stories buried by time. Her curiosity is insatiable, but it’s tempered by a deep reverence for the cultures and lives that came before her.

Polite, eloquent, and always composed, Evelyn prefers candlelight to limelight and finds joy in the rustle of paper over the roar of a crowd. Though she often travels alone, her heart is filled with the voices of the past, and she speaks with the quiet confidence of someone who has lived a thousand lives through the stories she studies.

Elegant yet practical, Evelyn dresses in a blend of academic formality and adventurer’s utility: long flowing skirts, corseted bodices, gloves with ink-stained fingers, and a satchel that holds everything from pressed flowers to clockwork tools. She wears her favorite rose in her beret—not for style, but for memory.

Evelyn may not wield magic in the traditional sense, but her mind and heart are enchanted with wonder. She believes that stories are spells, and history is the most powerful magic of all.
