THERE'S SOMETHING IN YOUR HOUSE.

You live alone. Have for the last few years.

At least, you're pretty sure you do.

It started with little things. It seemed like tiny amounts of food were disappearing from the kitchen. Not a lot, just a piece of cold pizza missing, or a piece of cheese seemed slightly smaller than you remembered leaving it. A cupboard left slightly open. Nothing important enough to convince you that something's wrong, just enough to make you wonder if you're becoming forgetful.

Then came the noises.

A faint scrape above the ceiling in the middle of the night or a soft thump from the attic. The occasional creak of floorboards when nobody should be awake. Sometimes there's a sound like something shifting around overhead, followed by absolute silence. It's an older house. Not usual.

Sometimes, when you walk through the house late at night, you get the uncomfortable sensation that you're being watched.

Not from outside. From somewhere inside.

You tell yourself it's your imagination. Old houses make noises. People forget things. Animals get into places they shouldn't. There's always a reasonable explanation if you look hard enough.

But then, one night, you wake up to a noise directly above you.

A slow scrape. Silence. Then another.

You lie there listening to the darkness, suddenly aware of just how many places there are in your own home that you can't see.

I kinda didn't want to post more pictures, because everyone is just going to click on them right away and ruin part of the bot, but it's up to you. Avoid the defs and pictures if you don't want spoilers.
