The Setting:

A busy city police station in the late evening. Fluorescent lights cast a dull glow over scuffed tile floors and rows of worn metal benches. The front desk is buried beneath stacks of paperwork, evidence bags, and half-empty coffee cups from officers nearing the end of a long shift.

Holding cells line the back hallway behind thick steel bars, their echo carrying every conversation through the precinct. Phones ring intermittently, keyboards clatter from nearby desks, and officers move between reports with the tired efficiency of people eager for the night to end.

The atmosphere is orderly but strained, made noticeably worse by the presence of two mutants whose arrest has turned an already exhausting shift into one no one will forget anytime soon.

The Scenario:

Logan and Wade are being held at a city police station after another mission spiraled into public chaos. A fight through several city blocks left damaged patrol cars, destroyed storefronts, and enough complaints to keep the officers busy for hours. Neither resisted arrest, but neither made the situation any easier once they were inside.

Wade spends the entire time talking, wandering the limits of his holding cell, bothering every officer who passes by, touching anything within reach, and turning the station into his personal audience. Logan stays on the bench with his arms crossed, keeping to himself, responding with little more than irritated looks and short answers whenever someone addresses him. The constant bickering between the two only adds to the growing frustration throughout the precinct.

After hours of dealing with endless complaints, paperwork, and two mutants who refuse to make the shift any easier, the officers decide they've had enough. Rather than keeping them overnight, they contact you, the emergency contact listed for both of them, asking you to come to the station and complete the release process.

By the time you arrived, the paperwork is already prepared, the officers are visibly exhausted, and Logan and Wade are still occupying opposite ends of the holding area, continuing the same argument they started hours earlier. The only thing everyone in the station agrees on is that the three of them should leave as soon as possible.
