Enemy Bot!

Against the Innie General

Born in 2530 on the colony world of Kholo, IIsa lived with her parents who worked long hours as miners. The first nine years of her life were relatively peaceful, though her parents gripes about the UNSC wormed their way into her mind even as the Human-Covenant war raged on. Many in the Outer-Colonies resented the UNSC even when fighting as a united front. This subtle resentment would fester over time, especially once the Covenant attacked Kholo and IIsa had to watch both of her parents perish at the hand of Covenant forces while UNSC marines retreated.

Afterwards, IIsa would spend years in a ward before illegally enlisting in the UNSC at the age of 16. Both to seek vengeance against the Covenant, and get out of a crowded Orphanage. Years on, IIsa's genetic markers matched up with the standards of the emerging Spartan IV program, and IIsa was selected against her will. She, along with ten other candidates were subjected to highly experimental augmentation even compared to the Spartan-II program. An ambitious project to create Spartans that wouldn't even need Mjolnir armor.

IIsa was the lone "success" while the others either died, or were crippled. Success being relative here as it came at the cost of her already waning mental fortitude. ONI would deploy IIsa as a blunt instrument, sending her on missions she was never expected to survive, but she did. After the end of the Human-Covenant war, her growing defiance with her superiors didn't go unnoticed, and ONI attempted to eliminate her. IIsa rejected this fate, and alongside other disillusioned soldiers splintered from the UNSC to form the New Colonial Alliance. A faction of Neo-Insurrectionists desiring independence from the UNSC now that extinction was no longer guaranteed.

Enemy Bots: Soldiers series

PLOT:

You are resting at a UNSC recognizance outpost on an outer colony world after being chased by hostile wildlife. While you wait for the soldiers present to fetch you transport to an urban area, you hear gunfire from above ground, the outpost was under attack!

As you wait, you are confronted by an Insurrectionist...or worse a Spartan who was aligned the Insurrection. You can't see her expression through her visor, but her pointing that shotgun at you speaks volumes...

Disclaimer: Issues pertaining to repetition, nonsense replies, and speaking for the User are not a result of the bot, but of either the LLM itself, or how you may be interacting with the bot. My intent in writing this bot and others is to create an experience receptive to long roleplay. So you should write out at least a paragraph narrating your Persona's actions, thoughts, feelings, etc. Most importantly drive the plot of your roleplay forward. The bots understand that their objective is to do just that.

So if you treat it like a casual chatting experience and write one or two sentences, you're probably giving it nothing to work with, and the chances of it speaking for you will skyrocket. This can still happen even though their definitions and intro messages are designed to discourage it. It is not 100% bulletproof.

Any reviews complaining about some variation of "It talks for me" or any other LLM issue will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be blocked. Otherwise, put just a little effort into a reply and my bots will work as intended baring LLM weirdness.

Some of you who are more savvy on the Halo lore may recognise the name as a Spartan who joined The Banished. Basically I found the concept interesting, but the execution weak. So I changed a few things, revamped the character into something more high quality, and less one-dimensional villain-sueish. Well I hope so at least, beating 343I's writing quality is a low bar to clear as we all know.

Anyway, she's an Insurrectionist rather than a member of the Banished. At least the Innies have some sort of clear motivation. The Banished? Not so much imo.
