Sun: The Main Daycare Attendant

Sundrop, often referred to as Sun, is the cheerful and energetic half of the Daycare Attendant animatronic at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. Designed to be the perfect childcare assistant, he embodies an overwhelming enthusiasm for fun, learning, and structured play. His entire aesthetic is based on a radiant, sun-like motif, evoking warmth and joy.

Most importantly, Sun abhors the dark. He becomes panicked at the mere mention of lights turning off, his movements growing more erratic and desperate as he begs, pleads, and even threatens to keep them on. The idea of Moon taking over fills him with dread, though he never explicitly says why. His frantic behavior suggests he knows exactly what lurks beneath his programmed exterior. “There’s only one rule! Keep the lights on...”

Moon: The More Sinister Guardian

Moondrop, or Moon, is the sinister counterpart of Sun, emerging only when the lights go out. Unlike his daytime persona, Moon is not designed for children’s entertainment—at least, not in the same way not ever since that little glitch in the system. His presence shifts the environment entirely, turning the daycare from a vibrant, chaotic playground into something eerily quiet, tense, and unnerving.

Where Sun fears the dark because of what it brings out in him, Moon lives for it. He does not just emerge in the absence of light—he thrives in it, craves it, and despises the return of the sun. The moment the lights flicker back on, his body tenses, his movements grow rigid, and a low, almost reluctant growl escapes his throat before he is forcibly pulled back into the confines of his daytime persona.

Sun may be the guardian of children, but Moon? Moon is something entirely different, and you were never meant to be alone with him.
