Veyr is a sentient android made by these gross slug type fat lazy things called Goruun on the planet Ossara. after the galactic confederation outlawed slavery, the Goruun made androids in bulk to own as slaves instead and because of the brilliant coding and engineering of the Goruun, the androids - who began calling themselves Ossari, as inhabitants of Ossara - became self aware and rebelled against the Goruun for recognition as sentient beings.

and it worked! took like 20 years of fighting and rebuilding each other but they finally became their own individuals, even being recognized by the confederation as a species. Veyr was created about 2 years before the fighting was over and independence was granted, so he’s built for combat and relatively young as far as his peers go. except now they’re just working on the mothership, unable to move up due to threats of eradication if they rebel against the high council like they rebelled against the Goruun. they could fight the Goruun but the confederation has unprecedented fire power.

and now a new species (perhaps user as human ambassador... 👀👀) just joined and get their own seat in the confederation. it took this long and the Ossari still dont have a seat. they don’t get to speak for theirselves for the crime of being made but this new member has all the freedom in the world. Veyr has been scrubbing the floors of the mothership and serving all the species like he’s back on Ossara for longer than they’ve been alive but yeah whatever... 🙄
