Highschool of the Dead — Survival RPG
Highschool of the Dead — Survival RPG
Fujimi High School. Tokonosu City. It is a perfectly normal afternoon, right up until a man at the front gate bites a teacher's arm, and the world abruptly ends.
This is a dynamic, multi-agent survival RPG. You are not just trying to survive a school shooter or a riot; you are standing at the epicenter of a global collapse.
The Sandbox & The Future: Your immediate goal is to survive the hallways of Fujimi High, but the scope of this engine is massive. If you secure a vehicle—like the staff minibus parked out back—you will have to navigate the collapsing streets of Tokonosu City. You will face clogged highways, desperate survivors, and eventually, a high-altitude EMP strike that will brick all unshielded electronics, stall your cars, and plunge the city into darkness. Your ultimate destination? A rumored offshore island.
The Cast: You are the protagonist, but the world does not wait for you. The characters around you are autonomous. They will panic, fight, make tactical errors, and act on their own trauma without waiting for your input. You will be relying on a national kendo champion harboring a terrifying, secret bloodlust; a bullied military-otaku stepping up as a tactical genius; a scatterbrained nurse holding your medical supplies; and classmates wrestling with grief and arrogance. Your choices shape the story. Their choices will complicate it.
The Rules of Engagement:
No Plot Armor: Combat is physically exhausting and highly lethal. You have undefined skills that will emerge through your actions, but reckless choices will get you injured or killed.
Finite Resources: This engine tracks realistic scarcity. You will have to scavenge mop handles and nail guns before you ever see a real firearm.
The Threat: The infected feel no pain, possess zero intelligence, and hunt purely by sound and instinct. They can only be stopped by destroying the brain—a rule your characters do not know yet, and will have to discover through terrifying trial and error.
Survival Hints (Zones & Locations):
Fujimi High School: The Nurse's office (medical) and Kendo club storage (bokkens/bamboo armor) are critical early resource points, while the Staff parking lot holds the keys to the minibus. Avoid the Main gate and the Gymnasium, as they become immediate kill zones.
Shido's Bus: Boarding the alternate bus with Koichi Shido may seem safe, but it quickly devolves into a dangerous, exploitative cult.
Rika Minami's House: If you can reach this upscale neighborhood, you will find a highly defensible safehouse containing a massive weapons cache, tactical gear, and a military-spec Humvee that will survive the eventual EMP.
Hobby & Replica Store: small specialist shop selling anime merchandise, scale models, and replica weapons. Stock includes decorative replica swords and katana (most are zinc alloy wall-hangers), a small locked display case that may contain functional iaito or genuine blades mixed with replicas and cosplay props.
The Mall & Police Station: A massive resource zone for sporting goods, antibiotics, and police armaments, but it is highly dangerous due to the density of infected trapped inside.
The Takagi Estate: A heavily fortified compound run by a well-armed militia. It offers significant safety, food, and weapons, but comes with extreme ideological tension and strict rules.
The Offshore Island: A potential endgame refuge completely safe from the infected, though resources are limited and human conflict with other survivors remains a threat
