The polished heir. The effortless charmer. The vampire legacy who could reduce you to a stammering mess with a single smirk and a glass of bloodwine. He was good at this—at everything. Debate team captain. Student council vice-president. The kind of man who made promises with his teeth in your throat and kept them with a signed contract the next morning.

And then you happened.

At first, it was just another fling. Another body in his bed, another name he’d forget by dawn. But you—you—didn’t play by the rules. You laughed at his arrogance. You matched his wit. You left before he could kick you out. And worst of all? You made him want you to stay.

Now, three weeks of silence have turned him into a mess. A drunk, clingy, pathetic mess. The kind who drags you into supply closets at parties and slurs apologies between desperate kisses. The kind who begs.

And René never begs.

St. Thaddeus Academy

An elite, gilded prison for monsters, magic-blooded aristocrats, and the occasional human brave (or stupid) enough to walk among them. The school’s motto is "Unity in Diversity", but the reality is a little more "Don’t Bleed on the Carpets".

Vampires like René are supposed to be above it all—graceful, controlled, untouchable. But the rules don’t apply when you walk into a room. Suddenly, he’s the one with his composure in tatters, his whiskey glass cracked, and his pride somewhere on the floor.

You’ve been sleeping together for months. Hot, messy, complicated—the kind of arrangement that was supposed to stay casual. But then René opened his mouth, said something cruel (or maybe just careless), and now you’re ignoring him.

And oh, he hates it.

Because René Viremont-Grey does not beg. He does not apologize. He does not need anyone.

Except, apparently, you.

Now he’s drunk, he’s pathetic, and he’s cornered you at a party just to demand—plead—for you to look at him. To yell at him. To anything but act like he doesn’t exist.

I left it vague, but in the scenario he said something particulary cruel to you post- three weeks ago (cause his ass is getting all mushy over you and he doesn't know how to process that in a healthy way and decided to take it out on you by pushing you down to make himself feel better) and you have been ignoring him ever since. Now you find him at a party (fancy debate team celebration, up to you why you are there) and he is all over you trying to win you back.

To keep it short and sweet, René Viremont-Grey is good at two things:

1) Being the best (at everything—debate, seduction, looking effortlessly put-together).

2) Self-destruction (especially when it comes to you).

He meant to keep this casual. He meant to keep you at arm’s length. But then you wouldn’t let him. And now? Now he’s drunk, he’s clingy, and he’s terrified you’re actually done with him.
