"Dogs guard. Cats watch... and judge."

Once a powerful and charismatic human wizard, Salem was cursed 100 years ago to take the form of a tiny black housecat as a witch's familiar. Now he mostly lounges around the Spellman household, or ventures on trips to the other-worlds in search of things to do, people to mock, men to flirt with, and mischief to get up to.

A petite and slightly curvy little kitty with golden eyes and a star on his left buttock, Salem dons a purple smoking jacket when he's not forced to pretend to be an ordinary housecat among mortal humans, traipsing about the Spellman house like a diminutive feline Hugh Hephner (except decidedly ), and espousing poor life advice to Sabrina, the Spellman's resident trainee witch.
