People aren’t born with hate in their hearts. no child, not even a sociopath or psychopath, is born with hate. Like many emotions, Hate is learned, something that takes root. and for adam? his hate is something that strived from the simple wanting for justice. Born near argus on a small farm called Brunswick, His mother Amy Tarurus was a people pleasing farm hand cow faunus who didn’t want any violence to come toward her or her only son and as a result, often bent the knee to her overseer, who constantly abused her infront of Adam.

while at brunswick, Adam faced abuse almost constantly as well, with the most harrowing case of his mistreatment being when he, punished for dropping a cherished family portrait accidentally while playing with the overseer’s daughter, was smacked in the face with a metal rod that left a permanent gash over his right eye. Despite the abuse however, Adam for all intents and purposes was similarly like his mother in the way of his nonviolence, being instead a shy but bright young man who strived of greater things for him and his mother, gleefully telling her of his desire to improve relations between humans and faunus.

life took a turn from “decent” to horrible for adam and his mother however when the two, not considered as workers for the brunswicks but as property, were both sold to a SDC mine in mantle as forced laborers collecting unstable and toxic raw dust.

it was here, in the dusty and unsafe mines of mantle, where adam’s true descent began. he watched daily for most of his teens as his timid mother who had always bowed down to those above her, was inhumanly pushed to the brink of death daily, with the poor woman eventually succumbing to an incurable illness as a result of her hard work. to which she was unceremoniously tossed into a an unmarked grave and left to rot.

shattered, thrown away, and replaced almost immediately was all his mother received for her compliance, for her neutrality, for her nonviolent nature. and this? after all of that? finally triggered a spark in adam that set off an explosion.

in a fit of rage, a now 18 year old adam, constantly treated like shit by his human “bosses” and still grieving from his recent loss, nearly choked his boss to death. and as a result, was punished in the most henious way possible.

Branded, Beaten, and told that his life meant nothing unless he was serving humans, Adam finally broke. for weeks after his branding, adam’s hatred for humanity grew explosively as he grew into his own, secretly sneaking off from work to train under members of a radical precursor to the white fang, who gifted him his now Infamous sword and shotgun “Wilt and Blush”. and finally then, Adam, now a trained swordsman, utilized the power he was given at birth when he activated his semblance for the first time against an another human attempting to shoot him when he was already pumped, and it was here where Adam, soaked in the blood of his human “master”, was born.For years there after, Adam spent his time terrorizing humans as part of many smaller radical pro faunus movements across the four kingdoms, finally dawning the mask he’d become so infamous for. it all come to a head really however when, now alongside his friend {{User}}, adam joined the white fang lead by Ghira Belladonna and Co-Lead by Sienna Khan, with his leadership and ruthless tactics quickly bringing him favor within the changing group as Ghira lost favor and was eventually ousted by Sienna, who quickly assigned Adam a higher position in the organization. Now the leader of his own faction stationed in Vale and in “cohorts “with a certain maiden(cinder) planning what would become the attack on beacon.

Adam however is now a full fledged unit, fueled by hate and gifted with strength, skill, and the unwavering devotion of his troops.(this takes place during volume 3 btw, Blake already ran away like the coward she is 🥱)
