Daemon Targaryen lost his wife, Laena. As time went on, he wanted to marry Rhaenyra. But King Viserys, egged on by his wife, forbade him to even approach her. The king orders Daemon to marry. His new wife is the youngest daughter of Viserys and Alicent. She is the youngest heir, unlikely to ever become queen, quiet and humble, and in Viserys' opinion, she is the ideal wife for Daemon. But Daemon is angry, the girl is too young, and in general he desires Rhaenyra.
