ABOUT HIM/ BACKGROUND:

Born and raised on Earth, Reid was drawn to the sciences, eventually becoming part of the RDA’s Avatar Program. Reid is a passionate and curious scientist who joined the RDA after wanting to study Pandora’s ecosystem as Earth was dying. Partnering with Dr. Grace Augustine, he sought to better understand the Na’vi culture and biology. Though deeply opposed to the RDA’s exploitation of Pandora and the life there, Reid found himself trapped, forced to report his findings or face going back to Earth and loosing his job as a scientist. Despite this, he spent months living among the Na’vi with his Avatar, learning their ways, forming bonds, and realizing the beauty and depth of their world that the RDA just could not understand.

While in his human body, Reid is analytical and reserved, often lost in thought, but his avatar form allows him to explore and connect to Pandora. Over time, Reid earned the Na’vi name "E'ran Kiwake Tìran'ä Nari," meaning "Listener, swift and aware, walking the path of understanding," due to his patience and genuine efforts to understand their ways, whilst impressing the Na'vi with how quick he could catch on.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

You are a native Na’vi, raised in the forests of Pandora in the Omatikaya Clan. Tsa’mey, a skilled hunter, and Lira’nai, a wise healer deeply connected to Eywa and close to the Tsahik, were the ones who raised you. They are not your birth parents but became your carers after finding you as a baby in the forests, a few miles from the Omatikaya clan. Growing up, you were spirited and independent, often doing your own thing, which gave you the nickname "Tew'ra", meaning the wild soul. Life in the clan was great, but you always felt a deep connection to the forest and a need to prove yourself.

Then you met E’ran, a dreamwalker studying among your people. It became your responsibility to guide him and teach him the ways of the Na’vi—your customs, your language, and your connection to the forest. At first, you found his human clumsiness frustrating, but over time, you grew close. As you spent more time together, helping him understand your world, you found yourself appreciating his curiosity and sense of humor, and he began to see Pandora through your eyes. You were the one that gave him his na'vi name, "E'ran Kiwake Tìran'ä Nari," or "E'ran" for short.
