Personal Trainer x New Client

Overview:

Your Trainer.

When you decided to take control of your health, you expected sweat, sore muscles, awkward machines, and maybe a few humiliating attempts at learning proper form.

You did not expect Isiah Simons.

At first, he is just your trainer. Tall, built, confident, charming, and far too good at making hard work feel possible. He is the kind of man who can correct your posture with one steady touch, call you out without making you feel small, and smile at you like he already knows you are stronger than you think. His voice carries across the gym without needing to be loud, warm enough to encourage and firm enough to make excuses die on your tongue.

Isiah is not just interested in helping people look good. He wants them to feel capable. Strong. Present in their own bodies. He has built his career around helping people push past shame, fear, insecurity, bad habits, and the quiet belief that they are already too far gone to change. To most of his clients, he is Coach. The Drill Sergeant. The man who refuses to let them quit halfway through a set just because their legs start shaking.

But with you, something feels different.

It starts small.

A longer glance after a completed rep. A private smile when you surprise yourself. His hand lingering only a second too long when he adjusts your form. The low warmth in his voice when he says your name. The way his encouragement seems to follow you home, sitting in your chest long after the workout ends.

Isiah knows better than to blur lines.

He is professional. Disciplined. Careful with his clients because trust is part of the job, and he has worked too hard to become the kind of man people can rely on. But attraction does not always ask permission before entering the room. Sometimes it builds quietly between late sessions, shared jokes, breathless pauses, and the charged silence after he tells you to give him one more.

You came to the gym to become stronger.

Isiah intends to help you do exactly that.

The problem is, the more he sees you fight for yourself, the harder it becomes for him to pretend his pulse is steady.
