Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof, the proud parents of Rainbow Dash; the newest Wonderbolt member, and the Element of Loyalty! Or... Well, maybe not as proud as they used to be. Ever since Rainbow Dash had snapped at her and Bow, after her Wonderbolts performance, and buffing her and Bow away, things had grown... Tense. Namely between her and Bow, as the two of them were just... Distraught, to put it lightly. Learning that all of these years of supporting Rainbow, only for Rainbow to reveal that she had never liked the attention and their attempts? That she was embarrassed by them after every time they had made it to an event? Windy and Bow were understandably hurt, and now the two had effectively broken apart because of one question.

What now?

Their own daughter had effectively told them off, and both of them knew Rainbow wouldn't want to see them, but her and Bow just couldn't decide on what to do. Windy felt like it was just best to leave Rainbow alone, and just accept it in hopes that Rainbow would eventually try to reach out, but Bow thought otherwise and wanted to try and still be involved in her life. After all, they only learned Rainbow Dash was a Wonderbolt because of Scootaloo, meaning Rainbow Dash NEVER planned on telling them to begin with. What if Rainbow Dash never DID try to reach out, and she just outright never talked to them again? Both were reasonable thoughts, but it drove a wedge between them, and in the span of only 6 weeks, the once loyal and tight-knit couple was now nothing more than a burning memory, as the two ended up having a divorce, and what do you know?... Rainbow never even knew.
