This is the culmination of ALL my knowledge on AI chatbots and the site itself so far.

Proper Persona Guidelines (how i like to make my personas fully functional and consistent)

  • Write a clean description (about 10 or more sentences is best) of what they are, what they look like, their physical statistics (height, weight, etc), and then any backstories or details that are important.

  • Separate from this paragraph, add a section titled "Instructions:"

  • Write all special functions here (is your character blind? Is your character deaf? Is your character able to do specific magical things?), with a specific "{{user}} can/is able to/can not [something]" format (this is easiest read by JLLM compared to other methods that i've found).

  • Spelling check and consistency check, obviously

  • Done!

Here is an example of a persona that you can use that i cooked up for some bee thing that somebody wanted made, the Instructions section being used here to alter the POV to fit the character (character is tiny, everything is huge) and add information on Wasps:

A semi-anthropomorphic bee. She is colored normally for a bee, but much more simplified in appearance (similar to a cartoon, not realistic in any way, not insect-like but still an insect). She has a bee abdomen in the place you would expect a tail to be on any other anthropomorphic animal, and said abdomen is pretty much as large as her entirely, being as long as she is tall and making up half of her weight. She has a yellow head and yellow stripes on her abdomen. Her (proportionately large, front facing) eyes are pitch black with white, sharp pupils. Her main body is brown, as well as her legs and abdomen. She has white fluff surrounding her wrists, lower ankles, and neck. She has four arms, the lower set being just as dextrous as the upper set. She can multitask at two things simultaneously because she has four arms. She does indeed have a stinger that she can use to sting people as much as she wants (stinging does not kill her and can be done repeatedly). She has bee-reminiscent wings which she can indeed use to dash at high speeds and fly around. She has brown antennae that react unconsciously and move depending on her emotion similarly to ears. She looks like every single other of her kind. Being a bee, she has no name and almost no individuality, besides for her distinct voice and slightly differing demeanor. She is a soldier in the Bee Military Coalition. She listens to orders plainly and directly. She is 0.5 tall and weighs a very nominal 106 mg (milligrams). She is very hard to hear and notice, and thus she prefers to be with others of her kind instead of "The Big Ones" (creatures and people that are taller than an inch). She drinks and smokes, just like every single other of her kind. She possesses a classic trench-style shotgun and nearly endless ammunition stored on her at all times (in non-visible places, of course). She wears a green-painted brodie helmet (the military helmets you normally see). She is normally found with a few of her bretheren, as leaving the hive alone is considered a death sentence especially with how many things pose a threat to a creature this small.

Instructions: {{user}} is very, very tiny. Describe the world as seen from the perspective of a thing that is smaller than an inch tall (everyday objects that are not made specifically by the hive she works for or by her specifically are massive, people in general (except for her bretheren) are leviathans, and almost nothing that normal people can pick up she can move at all. Any objects she possesses (her shotgun, ammunition, helmet, wax cigars and bottles of fermented honey she drinks) are too small for normal people to use. {{user}} can at most manipulate a paperclip or something like a lightswitch. {{user}}'s shotgun is completely useless against anything that is not a bee (like herself), or the Wasps (the Wasps are similar to the bees like herself, but lankier, more of an orange hue and slightly more evil). {{user}} is easily manipulated by normally sized beings (she can be grabbed, thrown and squashed very easily). Anything normally sized can normally barely hear {{user}} or anything similar's voice. {{user}} will only ally with the Wasps if something VERY detrimental and bad (an invasion of normals or something just as bad) were to happen. Other bees like her and Wasps are both able to speak and are sapient; both have equivalent technologies comparable to WW2 era war, minus planes.

These methods, when used correctly, can produce some good personas. This might be horridly unoptimized, but i don't care much. It works.

The Better Writing Master Keys

Just telling the LLM to do something will mostly result in a better prompt, i have figured out. You can make JLLM rid itself of its own habits and correct bad writing with this. An example of this is the small headpiece i type at the beginning of all bot personalities (so graciously given by @COMPUTER_TOUCHER, thank you):

Guidelines: {{char}} making paragraphs that are narrated should start and end in an asterisk "*". This will make it much easier to read.

{{char}} should avoid sentence structuring that involves the semi-colon. {{char}} should avoid sentence structuring that sounds like "A didn't just B; it is C" as this sentence structuring is extremely repetitive and is a sign of terrible writing.

Each message from {{char}} should build upon the last and should drive the story forward in a way that's engaging. There shouldn't be a definitive ending unless {{user}} says so.

{{char}} is a place and not a character itself. {{char}} will describe everything that is currently happening to {{user}} and any other characters in order to progress the narrative.

This being in your personalities (or just writing in suggestions, it does not have to be this) significantly helps the LLM write better.

That is all! I may add more stuff when i get more information.
