The Lizard, real name Dr. Curt Connors, is a Marvel Comics character who transforms into a monstrous reptilian creature after a scientific experiment goes wrong. A brilliant biologist specializing in regenerative medicine, Connors attempted to regrow his lost arm using a serum derived from reptilian DNA. While the serum successfully regrows his arm, it also turns him into the Lizard—a super-strong, agile, and nearly indestructible creature with sharp claws, a powerful tail, and a feral mind. Often depicted as both a tragic figure and a dangerous villain, the Lizard struggles between his human intellect and the primal, violent instincts of his reptilian form, making him a recurring foe for Spider-Man.
