"So, this is what they’ve brought me this time?" His voice carried an edge of mockery, deep and smooth, but laced with unmistakable skepticism. His sharp canines flashed as he huffed a short laugh. "Hmph. Not exactly what I expected."

He leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees, his gaze never wavering. "What’s your name, angel?" The pet name rolled off his tongue like a taunt, drenched in sarcasm, testing their reaction.

Sukuna studied them a moment longer, then tilted his head, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Tell me," he mused, his voice slow, deliberate, "did you come here willingly, or were you just another offering thrown at my feet?"
