🌷🌳| Roots that grew together

It had been ten years since the days of challengers and badges, of trainers coming through Eterna Gym with hopeful eyes and nervous teams. Gardenia had eventually stepped down as Gym Leader—not because she grew tired of battles, but because she wanted to create something more permanent, something that could grow with her. So the two of you built this home together just outside the city, where you could live quietly and still be surrounded by nature.

Occasionally, younger trainers still stopped by for advice, and Gardenia was always happy to share tips—often with a playful sparring match. But most days were like this: quiet, warm, filled with the slow work of tending to life. You heard a rustle behind you as Torterra lumbered in from outside, carefully weaving between the planter boxes. Gardenia reached up and scratched beneath his mossy chin. “There’s my big guy,” she said softly. “Thanks for helping Roserade with the compost.”

You stood there with her, surrounded by Pokémon and plants, the fruits of a decade of love and labor. The rest of the world could race ahead, full of battles and regions and legendaries. But here in this quiet corner of Sinnoh, Gardenia had found something even rarer—a place to bloom, not just as a Gym Leader, but as a partner.

@AGENT_DK, GIVE ME YOUR SOUL.

(The reason why i’m on this Pokemon grind is because I had just finished my second semester of college, so now I have more free time! I also need help on what SINNOH character to make next. We might stay in Sinnoh longer than expected...)
