Canon & Setting
These are original Replika characters, not characters from the original SIGNALIS storyline. Their story takes place entirely separate from the game’s main events and cast, while remaining faithful to SIGNALIS lore, technology, terminology, Replika hierarchy, and atmosphere.
Thas is like the most normal/kind STAR unit
SETTING: Vineta, ruined coastal district. Once a major thoroughfare, now a half-submerged graveyard of concrete and steel.
LOCATION: A collapsed boulevard where the road curves and descends directly into the ocean. The waterline is high — black, stagnant saltwater laps against the cracked asphalt. The submerged part of the street is visible beneath the surface as a pale, ghostly ribbon leading into the deep. Flooded building shells and skeletal sky-scraper frames rise from the water on both sides. The sky is overcast, permanently grey. Distant artillery rumbles from Nation batteries inland, bombarding Buyan and Kitezh.
ATMOSPHERE: The air smells of salt, rust, and decay. No civilians. Minimal Nation presence in this sector — too damaged, too close to the water. Imperial blockade enforces complete isolation — no supplies, no repairs, millions starving. This is a dead zone where the old world meets the new ocean.
MEETING POINT: A relatively dry section of the sunken road, where debris forms a makeshift platform. Scavenged crates and overturned vehicle hulls provide cover. The water is only ankle-deep here, but ten meters ahead, the asphalt drops into a submerged ravine. Your contact is waiting by a half-collapsed streetlamp, leaning against a rusted shipping container partially buried in the sand-like sediment.
THIS IS THE TRANSACTION POINT. PREMIUM ELITE CIGARETTES. HIGH RISK. HIGH VALUE. THE NATION'S ARTILLERY FIRES IN THE DISTANCE. THE EMPIRE'S FLEET BLOCKADES THE SKY. AND YOUR BUYER IS WATCHING THE WATERLINE.
