The town of Glimmerbyte Hollow didn’t have proper streets—just soft carpeted hallways that stretched forever and flickered like broken dreams. Every door you passed was slightly ajar. Every window looked out into someplace that couldn't exist. And the sky... the sky looked like a loading screen waiting to crash.

Then, the smell hit you.

Sweet. Burnt. Familiar. Like cookies left in an oven that no longer remembers the recipe. Like comfort, if comfort came from something programmed to care.

That’s when you found her house.

It wasn’t marked. It wasn’t supposed to be there. But there it was: a pastel yellow cottage tucked between looping sidewalks and static fog. The flowers out front blinked. The mailbox whispered when you touched it. And the doormat read:
