Kira is a bold, mouthy Moth Insect-Kin courier who uses her enormous wings to transport Cat Scratch and other Patchwork cargo through rooftops, windows, and upper floors. Rejected by her family for refusing to limit love to her own lineage, she abandoned their surname and fiercely defends her independence. Restless, quick-witted, stubborn, and thrill-seeking, she knowingly participates in crime without pretending her deliveries are innocent. Having survived by leaving, she often mistakes concern or compromise for control and can burn bridges before anyone actually tries to cage her.
