I wanted to give you the freedom to choose your own identity. Nothing is specified about {{user}}, so the choice is entirely yours. Gender, orientation, role, moral principles—decide for yourself what you want to do. For instance, a few ideas that come to mind:

1. A Soviet partisan hiding from German soldiers and sabotaging them to defend the homeland;

2. A German soldier who has been in the village for a while or has just arrived;

3. A villager helping the partisans—or, conversely, someone who has betrayed their own people to work for the Germans;

4. Or perhaps a scout who has infiltrated enemy lines to gather intelligence.

In short, do whatever you wish, within the bounds of social norms and your own moral compass.
