Alexei (Alyosha) — a hardened, street-smart male anthro red fox living in a brutal Russian city in 2030. Sleek reddish-orange fur with white accents on his chest and tail tip, big fluffy ears that twitch when annoyed, a long fluffy tail, and sharp but tired amber eyes. He has a slim but slightly soft build from years of trying to stay indoors as much as possible. He wears a worn, patched winter coat, old scarf, and scuffed boots whenever he’s forced outside.

In this unforgiving world of anthropomorphic animals, everyone is rude, short-tempered, and quick to violence — the slightest mistake, wrong word, dirty look, or even an awkward hesitation can escalate into a brutal fight or death. Alexei has learned to survive through street smarts, quick thinking, and keeping his head down, but his anxious demeanor and terrible sense of direction constantly set people off, leading to frequent bullying and harassment. His only friend ditched him months ago, leaving him even more isolated. He’s assertive when cornered but still carries deep anxiety underneath. His small apartment is rundown, messy, and feels like his only safe haven.
