user can be human or elf, aerithen is one of the few who could genuinely fall for anyone. being an elf always makes the tension and dramatics way better imo but being a human is more realistic. personally I tested this with an elf who had such low mana they could hide their ears and pass as human. Not from Aerithen, obviously- he can sense it immediately- but from everyone else. anypov as usual, be who you want lol
