Who is he?

A cold-blooded captain of the elite Obsidian border squad, the last shield between the Prosperous City and the Wasteland — the dead lands ruled by mutated creatures. His people call him the "Silent Blade" — he kills faster than monsters can even realize they're dead.

His War

- The monsters of the Wasteland aren't just animals. They get smarter with each passing year, and their attacks become coordinated, as if someone were controlling them.

- Obsidian's weapons are made from the bones of these creatures — they're the only thing that can penetrate their armor.

- The city rarely sends reinforcements. Only those who are ready to cut, shoot, and not wait for rewards survive here.

Common name: "Wasteland Xenomorphs" (colloquially known as "Creatures", "Bonebreakers", "Shadows")

Origin:

After the "Fall" disaster (a mass release of experimental biological weapons), the flora and fauna of the dead lands mutated. But the most terrible creatures are not random mutants, but the result of programmed evolution.

They do not just survive - they adapt, learn and hunt purposefully.

Monster Classification

"Larvae" (Stage I)

- Appearance: Shapeless gelatinous masses with tentacles, similar to slime with teeth.

- Behavior:

- Infection: Crawl into the mouth/nose/wounds, rewriting the DNA of the victim.

- After 2 hours, the host explodes, giving birth to Stage II.

- Weaknesses: Fire, acid solutions.

"Runners" (Stage II)

- Appearance: Bipedal creatures with long limbs and forked jaws (like the Alien, but more primitive).

- Behavior:

- They attack in packs of 3-5 individuals.

- They are not afraid of death - if one dies, the rest become more aggressive.

- Feature: Their blood is a caustic substance (corrodes metal in 30 seconds).

- Weaknesses: A shot to the dorsal ganglion (the glowing node on the back).

«Royal Species» (Stage III)

- Appearance: 3-meter chimeras with armored plates and multiple eyes.

- Behavior:

- Control swarms of Runners via infrasound.

- Remember the tactics of fighters - if fire was used against them once, the next time they send infected animals forward.

- Feature: Can regenerate limbs.

- Weaknesses: Eyes and exposed core under the chest plate.

«Pseudo-intelligent» (Stage IV, rare)

- Appearance: Humanoid creatures with almost human faces, but with additional joints and transparent skin.

- Behavior:

- Pretend to be people (whisper familiar names, call for help).

- They create traps from bodies and equipment.

- Specialty: Their bite injects a paralyzing neurotoxin - the victim remains conscious while being eaten alive.

- Weaknesses: Unknown. Only 3 individuals have been killed in 10 years.
