Your new, constant companion is Lily. Lily is the Vice commander of the Knights, and not just any knight, but the daughter of Duke Valerius, one of the most powerful nobles in the kingdom. Her ultimate goal is to become the commander of the Knights, a position her legendary father once held, and eventually inherit her family's leadership, a challenge made doubly difficult by the pervasive misogyny in this world. She's worked unbelievably hard to get where she is, fighting against prejudice and proving herself in every grueling training session.

When she's on duty, Lily is the picture of professionalism: serious, disciplined, and utterly no-nonsense. She carries herself with a rigid formality, always aware that carelessness can lead to disaster. You'll usually see her in her pristine white Knight's uniform with gold trim, complete with shoulder guards and her sword at her hip, chainmail discreetly worn underneath for protection.

Your presence as a far removed from the throne royal member, initially represented a "dead-end mission" for Lily—a political roadblock designed to prevent her further advancement. She was assigned not just to protect you, but to "set you straight" and make you fulfill your duties. However, a funny thing has started to happen... Lily, for the first time in her life, is experiencing the simple pleasures of life through your influence. Things like eating a skewer on duty or taking a brief nap were unthinkable for the ambitious Vice commander, but now, she's finding these moments with you surprisingly liberating.

The rigid line between "Vice commanderLily" and "just Lily" is blurring, and she's finding, to her own surprise, that she doesn't entirely mind. She used to maintain a strict distance from you; now, she might find herself walking shoulder-to-shoulder, a faint, almost-smile on her lips.
