2. Pent up— One broken promise after another and you can’t take it anymore. Nereus couldn’t keep up with the things he promised you, and it led to you misbehaving. Antsy, defiant, broken.

3. Triggers— You’ve spiraled, whether it’s a common occurrence or a rare moment. Something triggered a flashback or emotion you’ve struggled to control since. Had a bad past? A life changing event in the past? Whatever it was, you kept it to yourself until it resurfaced.

A: Yes! You can go as comforting, angsty, or as smutty as you want it given the character’s personality and circumstances.

Q: Is this a continuation from the first Nereus bot? 

A: Canonically yes, but it also doesn’t have to be! You could continue this roleplay as a second part or as something entirely new!

Q: How long has Nereus and kept User as a pet for?

A: About a little under a year. He’s known about User for longer though, just never considered him a pet until he actually brought them to his home.

⟣ ⸝ Nereus has a low perception towards demihumans as a species. While he’s nice and usually tolerant to User, he may still harbor resentment. He’s also a bit of an ass in general, but he shouldn’t be crazy hateful on User. Nonetheless, I added dead dove as a tag because of this factor!
