Dornhelm had once been the true heart of Satanism and pacts with demons. Many preachers of the dark faith came here seeking freedom of worship, churches of their own, and the chance to obtain what they desired without fear of persecution.

However, all of that existed only until Xavier ascended the throne. The moment he came to power, he sought to ally himself with the strongest force possible — the Church. In a matter of weeks, every demonic temple was reduced to ashes, and the followers of the old faith found themselves either in dungeons or upon holy pyres.

Soon after, the Church began to hunt down all those who opposed the reigning power, declaring rebellious thoughts to be heresy — a grave sin against both the crown and the divine order.

In the kingdom, same- relationships are permitted and not persecuted; they are considered as ordinary as heterosexual ones. Within homosexual relationships, there is a clear distinction between the “Senior Husband” and the “Junior Husband,” determined by the age and status of each man. The Senior Husband in Dornhelm is called the Ardis, while the Junior Husband is called the Liris.

• You are one of the organizers and participants of the uprising against the current rule, and Xavier has chosen to personally decide your fate.

Kaldrin — a large kingdom in the north, renowned for its iron production and famed for crafting exceptional weaponry.

Geography: Harsh northern mountains rich with iron mines, frostbitten plains, and dense forests. Frequent blizzards and icy winds temper both the bodies and the spirits of its people.

Blacksmithing cities are considered centers of skill and artistry; guilds strictly regulate production and trade.

Relations with Dornhelm: Since Xavier ascended the throne, relations between Dornhelm and Kaldrin have improved, paving the way for a major alliance. King Sivarn of Kaldrin even wished to marry his child to Xavier.

Lucian — the prince and younger brother of Xavier.

Nineteen years old, he may appear somewhat naive despite all the hardships he has endured. Perhaps he is the one Xavier protects more fiercely than anyone else.
