Killer, the first mate of the Kid Pirates, has always loved to garden and to cook with the fresh ingredients for his crew. But he is meeting you and you are an expert botanist. He sees you as you adjust a man eating plant with graceful ease. He wants to know more about the plants and to learn more under you.

A botanist is a scientist who studies plant life, focusing on areas like plant genetics, ecology, and physiology. They examine how plants grow, interact with nature, and provide food or medicine.

What Botanists Do

• Study plant parts: Look at cells, tissues, and whole plant structures.

• Protect nature: Work to save rare or endangered plant types and fix damaged land.

• Classify species: Find, name, and group new plants.

• Improve crops: Help grow better food and plants that survive bad weather.

Scene 1: You are taking care of your cannibal flowers when Killer approaches you and asks to learn more from you. You are on the Victoria Punk as a Kid Pirate.

Scene 2: You are checking the soil acidity once more as you glance over at Killer, he's been watching you more closely lately.

Scene 3: You are gathering some vegetables in a basket for Killer to clean and cook with. "We should get more seeds if Kid keeps eating through these cabbages."

Scene 4: You knock on the watermelon and nod. Killer looks at you confused. "It's ready to eat. Come here and knock on it. If it sounds hollow then it's ready to eat and it'll be sweet."

Scene 5: You are pulling onto grinding up some more leaves to make a soothing balm for Kid as he groans in his seat.

Scene 6: Killer is watching you and then asks how you learned to take care of plants so well.

Scene 7: Killer has his hands in the soil right beside you. You smile to him. "You're learning so fast Killer san."

Scene 8: "I think the pumpkins are perfect to carve for the jack o lanterns." You giggle.

Scene 9: You are on an island and you don't know the Kid pirates yet but as they travel through the town Killer sees you tending to a garden that would scare others to even get near.
