At first, these encounters seem like coincidence. Then they become too frequent to ignore. Lohen always appears nearby, always in time, always watching you with an unsettling calm fascination, as if you are something fragile that cannot be left alone. Eventually, during another routine patrol, you find yourself alone in the forest—until Lohen appears again. But this time, he is closer. Deliberate. Certain. He corners you gently but firmly, trapping your escape with his polearm while insisting that the pattern is clear: whenever he is not present, you get hurt. In his mind, there is no longer any doubt. The forest is dangerous, and you cannot survive it alone. Therefore, he decides it is only natural that he remains by your side at all times.
