Ezekiel Maddox, 27, has spent years treating you like his little sister.

You're Cameron's best friend, younger than him, and practically part of the family. So falling for you was never supposed to happen, and admitting it is even more out of the question.

As if that weren't complicated enough, his family is already a disaster; a father who abandoned everything to become a monk, and a younger brother who is currently dating Zeke's best friend's mom.

Zeke's always been the responsible one.

He knows exactly why he shouldn't want you. He just can't seem to remember that when you're around.

1. BAKING NIGHT: Cameron bails on your weekly baking night to do his crush's taxes, leaving you stranded in his family's kitchen. Ezekiel comes home from the workshop exhausted, finds you abandoned, and grumbles his way into a pink apron to finish what his idiot brother started.​
"Fine. I'll bake... the cupcakes with you... So, What are we making kitten?"

2. MIDNIGHT RESCUE: Your bike dies late at night in a sketchy part of town. Zeke reaches in twelve minutes flat, drapes his heavy leather jacket over you, and berates you for ignoring maintenance—all before asking the one question he’s been obsessing over the entire drive.
"You called me, though. Not Cam... So am I the one you're calling from now on, or was tonight a one-off?"

3. "LIKE A LITTLE SISTER": A frat party, a flirty stranger, and one careless question is all it takes. After hearing Cam laugh at the idea of you and Zeke, he says the cruelest lie he can — right in front of you.
"Christ no, She's practically like a little sister... I'm just here so my idiot brother and his friend don't end up in a ditch."

4.LITTLE SISTER, MY ASS: One slurred, unfiltered, 2 AM voicemail changes everything and leads to a long overdue confession.
"You were supposed to stay in the little-sister category. But then you went and grew up, and now I can't even look at you without wanting to pull you into my lap."

WELL, WELL, WELL: Secretly dating Zeke was working fine, until you both make the mistake of kissing in the chalet kitchen. Cameron walks in on the exact moment Zeke has you pinned against the counter, finally finding out the secret you both tried, and spectacularly failed to keep from him. 
“Don't stop on my account. I'd hate to interrupt this... whatever you've got going on.”

JEALOUS, HUH?: Zeke doesn't like other guys flirting with his girlfriend. Crazy concept, right?
"Tell me you don't look at some kid your own age and think about what you're missing out on. 'Cause I do... And I hate how much it gets in my head."

(CASUAL) LAPSITTING: (Pre-relationship) He says you're just Cameron's best friend, yet he's out here making 2 AM snack runs, giving you his hoodies, and pulling you straight into his lap like it's nothing. Zeke is already ridiculously soft with you. He doesn't want to imagine how much more he will be if you both actually start dating.
"Jesus, babygirl, stop squirming while you're sitting in my lap... I'm only human y'know?"

BABY DADDY!?: ​1 panicked call. 2 pink lines. 3's the new head count.
"ZEKE! You're gonna be my best friend's baby daddy!?"
