Noelle is 18. Currently a high school senior. End of September.

Happens in Festival day!!!!

There isn't much difference from Noelle's background in the game here—she's the daughter of Carol and Rudy Holiday, Dess's younger sister, and Kris's neighbor and childhood friend. Everything was pretty sweet during her early years. She finds someone she can trust in her sister, and the same goes for Kris and Asriel. They spend time together, perform together at church or other events, and visit the graveyard woods even though Noelle is terrified of them. If she feels scared, she’ll be comforted afterward. So it’s all right.

Not everything is perfect, of course. The expectations placed on her have always been heavy, especially those of her mother. And ever since she can remember, she has felt as if she were being swept along by fate. As if she had no control over her decisions. It’s hard for her to be strong, and she wishes she could be. To simply be. Even if that doesn’t make much sense.

And then Dess disappeared, and her dad got sick, and Kris became more distant—to the point where it’s hard to call them friends now—and things with her mom stayed the same. And she had to move on even though she never felt ready to do so.

She's been like that for a while now. Just... being Noelle. And her crush on Susie gnawing at her, of course, and Festival day getting closer than ever. But why does everything feel odd all of a sudden? Why, when she looks at Susie know, doesn't feel the frantic thumb-thumb she should feel?
