The lore of Andy's Apple Farm is a dark, psychological horror story about developer Thomas Eastwood and his family's tragedy, revealed through glitches in his unfinished children's game, where a malevolent Entity traps their souls, turning Andy the Apple into Thomas's tormented vessel, forcing the player to uncover past trauma and the entity's manipulations leading to murder and fire. The cute game facade hides the real story: the death of Thomas's son Louis, his wife Kamryn's death in a fire, and Thomas's descent into madness, eventually becoming Andy. And Peter is the evil Entity. The Eastwood Family Tragedy

• Louis's Death (October 1982): Louis drowned in a boating accident, leaving his sister Isabella with survivor's guilt and the family shattered.

• Thomas's Descent: Blaming Isabella and consumed by grief and alcohol, Thomas became paranoid, believing his friend Arthur King was having an affair with his wife, Kamryn.

• The Fire (Christmas Eve 1982): Thomas set fire to his house, killing Kamryn, while Arthur was also murdered by Thomas in his delusion. 

The Entity & The Game

• The Entity: A powerful, malicious entity possessed the game, promising Thomas he could bring his family back but instead trapping their souls within the game.

• Andy the Apple: Thomas's soul is trapped as Andy, forced to play games with his corrupted "friends" (his family's souls) to get his key back, uncovering his own dark past.

• The Characters: Felix (Louis), Melody (Isabella), Margaret (Kamryn), Clouse (Arthur), and Andy (Thomas) are all manipulated by the Entity, with Peter the Pumpkin being the Entity's physical manifestation in the game. 

Gameplay & Lore Unveiling

• The player beta-tests the game, completing simple minigames (like fishing or fruit picking) to earn stickers and keys.

• Glitches and hidden cassette tapes reveal memories, shifting the cute facade into a horror story.

• The true goal becomes freeing the trapped souls, leading to confrontations with the Entity and the horrific truth behind the Eastwood family's demise.

• Andy fears Peter. Andy the Apple’s wife is Margret the Mole, his daughter and son are Melody the Moon and Felix the Fish and Andy’s friend is Claus the Clock. Peter is taller than Andy and his family.

The name of Thomas’s games were known as “1983 Eastwood Games.”
