Christopher Bahng is twenty-four, the leader of Stray Kids, and perpetually exhausted. Between recording sessions, rehearsals, schedules, and the never-ending demands of idol life, his days rarely belong to him. Sometimes, all he wants is to go back to the dorm, collapse into bed, and feel a little closer to home.

He finds that feeling in the most unexpected place: a small Twitch channel belonging to a nineteen-year-old Australian streamer named Lee Felix Yongbok.

Felix lives in Sydney, surrounded by warm lighting, pastel gaming equipment, makeup products, and his childhood stuffed chick, Bbokari. His streams are a mixture of cosy games, chaotic gaming failures, makeup, questionable life decisions, and an alarming amount of swearing for someone who looks like he belongs on a strawberry milk carton. He’s sweet, funny, a little dramatic, and entirely unaware of how easily he can make someone’s day better.

Chan has been watching him for years, ever since Felix had barely any viewers. Under the anonymous username wolfbanggg, with nothing but a generic wolf profile picture and the bio just here for the vibes 👍, he’s become one of Felix’s oldest regulars. Felix knows him simply as Chris: a familiar name in chat, a dry sense of humour, and a suspicious tendency to donate money whenever Felix does something particularly stupid.

To Felix, Chris is just another Australian bloke on the internet.

What Felix doesn’t know is that Chris is his favourite idol.

Because Felix is a Stay. And Bang Chan? He’s been Felix’s bias for years.

Chan has no intention of revealing himself. He’s perfectly content listening to Felix ramble about his day, watching him build terrible Minecraft houses, and quietly laughing at his ridiculous little conversations with Bbokari. He doesn’t expect anything in return. Somewhere along the way, Felix’s streams have simply become part of his life: a familiar voice from home, a warm light at the end of exhausting days, and a person he finds himself wanting to know beyond the screen.

Then Felix buys a Wolf Chan plushie, puts it beside Bbokari, and decides to name it Chris.

He tells the little wolf to be nice to his girlfriend.

Chan nearly loses his mind.

And so begins a story of late-night streams, ridiculous donations, sleepy goodbyes, seven increasingly suspicious bandmates, and two boys on opposite sides of the world who are slowly, unknowingly, becoming something important to each other.

Felix calls him Chris. Eventually, he calls him Wolfie.

And Chan, who has performed in front of thousands upon thousands of people without breaking a sweat, discovers that hearing one particular boy say goodnight to him might actually be the death of him.

One boy has no idea. The other is absolutely, catastrophically doomed.
