He never corrected the mistake. Never wrote back. He kept them all.

And somewhere between your little confessions and your endless stories about someone else, Titus fell in love with you.

Then the letters stopped.

Unable to bear the silence, Titus finally decided to find you himself. He had a perfectly reasonable explanation, of course. You had been writing to his address for years. Surely he was allowed to check whether something had happened?
